Vincenzo Cacace was born in Nusco in Italy, in 1949. He lives and works in San Nicola la Strada. He graduated from the Art Institute in Torre del Greco and the Fine Arts Academy of Napoli. 

He participates to the Italian artistic life since 1964. In 1967 he wins the First prize of the Sacred an Biblic subjects show in Torre del Greco. In 1969 he creates his first artists group to make research about the informal, using the natural aesthetic and gesture phenomena. It is in this context that he will organize his first solo exhibition. 

He will create several artists’ groups during some years, using the street, the public square and the citizens participation as a working space.In 1979, Vincenzo decides to reappropriate for himself all these experiences and to devote to the figurative image. It is in this direction that he imposes himself through numerous shows in Italy and abroad, specially in Switzerland, UK and Mexico.
